License Policy

1. Overview

This License Policy governs the use, activation, and enforcement of licenses for NetNotGross (NNG), a digital software product provided by QuirkyMaster ("we", "our", or "Provider").

By using or activating a license key, you agree to this License Policy and our Terms of Service.

2. License Definition

A license grants you access to specific functionality of the NNG software within an authorized Google Sheets instance.

A license does not grant ownership of the software, underlying logic, formulas, or system architecture.

Licenses are required to enable full functionality of the paid version of NNG.

3. License Scope

Unless otherwise stated:

• Each license is intended for use by one user

• Each license is intended for one Google Sheets instance

• Each license is tied to an activation record within our system

Licenses may not be shared across multiple users or multiple spreadsheet instances.

4. License Activation

License activation occurs when a valid license key is entered into the designated activation field within an authorized NNG spreadsheet instance.

Activation is processed through our backend system and may include verification of:

• License key validity

• License status (active, reserved, revoked)

• Spreadsheet instance identity

• Associated email or user record

Once activated, the license becomes bound to that spreadsheet instance.

5. Spreadsheet Binding

NNG operates using a spreadsheet-based licensing model.

Each activated license is bound to a specific Google Sheets instance.

Attempting to duplicate or copy a licensed spreadsheet does not automatically transfer or replicate the license.

We reserve the right to restrict functionality in unauthorized or unlicensed copies.

6. Trial to Paid Conversion

Trial versions of NNG operate under a separate licensing status.

Upon purchase and activation:

• A trial instance may be upgraded to a paid license

• The system may migrate or relocate the spreadsheet instance from a TRIAL environment to a PAID environment within our infrastructure

• Full functionality is unlocked only after successful license activation

7. License Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or distribute license keys without authorization

• Attempt to bypass license validation or activation systems

• Use automated tools to generate or abuse licenses

• Create multiple unauthorized copies of licensed spreadsheets

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract license validation logic

8. License Transfer

License transfers are not guaranteed.

We may, at our sole discretion, approve or deny requests for license transfer between users or spreadsheet instances.

Transfer requests must be submitted via our official support channel.

9. Suspension and Revocation

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke any license if:

• Terms of Service are violated

• Fraud or abuse is detected

• Unauthorized distribution is identified

• License is used in a manner that compromises system integrity

Revocation may result in loss of access to paid functionality.

10. System Integrity

NNG uses automated systems to manage license validation, including:

• License key verification

• Activation tracking

• Spreadsheet instance binding

• Trial and paid environment separation

These systems are essential to maintain service integrity and prevent abuse.

11. No Ownership Transfer

Purchase and activation of a license does not transfer ownership of:

• Software logic

• Formulas and calculations

• System architecture

• Backend infrastructure

• Licensing system

All rights remain with QuirkyMaster.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this License Policy at any time.

Updates will be published on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
